LIHCA's 2015 Red Book
Across the state of Alabama, hardworking Alabamians face a variety factors that make finding a safe, decent and affordable place to call home a real challenge. While the need for increased housing opportunities is present in all 67 counties, we understand that each county and every community is different. That's why the Low Income Housing Coalition of Alabama has created the 2014 Red Book which includes a series of county housing profiles that identifies the housing challenges in each county and provides context as to how each county ranks in a number of key categories compared to other Alabama counties. Below are profiles for each county as well as information about how to use these profiles as an advocacy tool to help secure dedicated revenue for the Alabama Housing Trust Fund.
