HB141 is a bill will dedicate revenue for the Alabama Housing Trust Fund. Established in 2012, the Alabama Housing Trust Fund has no funding and therefore cannot create and rehabilitate affordable homes here in Alabama. HB141 has been referred to your committee and I would like for you to give it consideration. I support HB141 because it will create jobs and generate revenue for our state. I believe that (insert one of the messages listed below).
1. Hardworking Alabamians (or people with disabilities) should be able to pay rent and still be able to put food on the table.
2. Every child deserves a safe place to call home.
3. The men and women who defend our country deserve to return to a safe and affordable home.
